The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for them in their matchups with Sheridan: they've now lost five in a row.
Kelly Walsh lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Lillian Hudson, who scored 12 points along with eight rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kennedy Davila, who scored 14 points along with four steals.
Kelly Walsh struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Kelly Walsh's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Sheridan, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1.
Kelly Walsh won't have much time to rest: their next game is against East at 3:00 p.m. on January 6th. Sheridan and Evanston will face off on January 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Evanston is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'.
