Eastern won the last time they faced Southern and things went their way on Saturday too. Eastern came out on top against Southern by a score of 9-5.

Trevor Dugan looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (two).

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Carson Shee, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Miles Mozejko was another key player, scoring a run and stealing three bases while going 1-for-1.
