The Eagle Ridge Academy Warriors were the 78-63 winner over the Peak to Peak Pumas when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Eagle Ridge Academy fell to Peak to Peak 61-56. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Eagle Ridge Academy still got an impressive performance from Isaiah Garcia, who scored 24 points along with seven rebounds and six assists. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Garcia has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Aiden Wanrow, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Eagle Ridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Peak to Peak, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
Eagle Ridge Academy will look to defend their home court on Monday against Colorado Academy at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Colorado Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday.
