Jonathan Barnett was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in strikeouts (five). He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three stolen bases, three runs, and two RBI. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Connor Danowski, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with five stolen bases, three runs, and one RBI. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Zavier Reid was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three stolen bases and two runs.

Summit Academy North's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-4. As for Annapolis, their win bumped their record up to 6-11.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Annapolis has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .442.
