The Great Falls Bison will head out to take on the Gallatin Raptors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Great Falls' defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Skyview 42-0. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Bison had established a 35-point advantage.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Great Falls to victory, but perhaps none more so than Steele Harris, who picked up 165 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Those 165 receiving yards gave Harris a new career-high. Mason Cannon handled things on the ground, rushing for 115 yards and two rushing touchdowns.
Meanwhile, Gallatin faced Bozeman in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Raptors came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 23-16. The victory was just business as usual for the Raptors, who after five games remain undefeated this season.
Great Falls better focus on containing Tyson Scheel and Carter Dahlke as the pair were huge in Gallatin's win. Scheel gained 213 total yards and two touchdowns, while Dahlke rushed for 111 yards and one score. Scheel's longest rush was for an incredible 82 yards.
Gallatin didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Bozeman to a completion percentage of just 41.7%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from five players: Bobby Gutzman, Will O'Brien, Braeden Matthews, Hudson White, and Ty Laslovich, who each logged one passes deflected. Gallatin hasn't an opponent to post a completion percentage of 0.42 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
Gallatin didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Gutzman, White, and Sam Talbot picked up one apiece.
Great Falls' first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Gallatin, their victory bumped their record up to 5-0.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Great Falls has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 184.8 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Gallatin struggles in that department as they've been averaging 197.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Great Falls took a serious blow against Gallatin in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, falling 51-10. Can the Bison avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
