Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Killingly). They claimed a resounding 67-13 victory over the Woodstock Academy Centaurs. With the Trailbazers ahead 61-6 at the half, the game was all but over already.
It was another big night for Hayden Allard, who rushed for 109 yards and three TDs on only six carries. Another player making a difference was Quinn Sumner, who threw for 87 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.

The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Kaiden Guertin, Andre Cardona, and Ryan Webster, who each picked up one sack apiece. Special teams also deserves some recognition, posting 13 points in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Aiden Lamotte, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
When it comes to explaining why Woodstock Academy lost on Thursday, don't look at Cooper Harris. Despite the final result, he rushed for 92 yards and one score on only nine carries, and also caught one TD. Griffen Bloom also helped out with an impressive 86 receiving yards.
Killingly's record is now 10-0. As for Woodstock Academy, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-7.
