Softball Recap: Central Wins Going Away Against Waggener

Central lost to Waggener back in May of 2018, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets blew past the Wildcats 19-6. The Yellow Jackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 13 runs or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Central and bumps their season record up to 3-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 8 runs in those games. As for Waggener, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 11-6.

Coming up, Central will take on Fort Knox at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Waggener, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 23-8 win against Moore on the 8th.
