Dayspring Christian Academy had lost four straight headed into Thursday's contest, but Matise Lujan didn't let it get to five. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Dawson School Mustangs on Thursday with plenty of help from Lujan, who had 23 digs and one assist. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 27-29, 25-18, 25-10.

Dayspring Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Dawson School, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-17.

Coming up, Dayspring Christian Academy will face off against Center at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Dawson School does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
