The West York Area Bulldogs will head out to face off against the Susquehannock Warriors at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. West York Area's defense has only allowed 8.2 points per game this season, so Susquehannock's offense will have their work cut out for them.
West York Area is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 37 points last Friday, they were much more limited against New Oxford on Friday. They fell 14-7 to the Colonials. The loss continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Colonials: they've now lost six in a row.
Meanwhile, Susquehannock scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a 28-23 hit to the loss column at the hands of Eastern York.
West York Area will have to contain Trevor Odegaard as he made an impact in Susquehannock's last game. He rushed for 161 yards and two touchdowns. Nikolai Graham got in on the action as well, returning a kick for a touchdown.
Even if they lost, Susquehannock's defense still kept up the pressure with seven sacks. The heavy lifting was done by Dylan Lagore and Donavin Jordan-Brown, who racked up five sacks between them. Susquehannock got some further help from Ryan Simons: he picked up a sack and made ten total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Special teams played a big role in the game for Susquehannock, adding 11 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Graham, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.
Susquehannock's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for West York Area, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 7-1.

It's a different story for Susquehannock, though, as they've been averaging only 206.4 total yards. Will West York Area be able to march up the field at their leisure again, or will the Warriors flip the script?
West York Area strolled past Susquehannock in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 28-14. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Warriors' Joshua Pecunes, who rushed for 104 yards and a pair of TDs on only ten carries, and also picked up 46 receiving yards.
