Glenwood had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They walked away with a 38-31 win over the Sylacauga Aggies. The Gators have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Aggies, too.

When it comes to explaining why Sylacauga lost, don't look at Cj Franklin. Despite the final result, he threw for 208 yards and two TDs, and also rushed for 83 yards and one score. Zakorien Chambliss helped out on the ground, rushing for 97 yards.

Glenwood's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Sylacauga, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-6.

Looking ahead, Glenwood will square off against Thomasville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gators will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four games. Sylacauga does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
