The timing is sure in Oak Hill's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Eastbrook has been banged up by ten consecutive losses on the road dating back to last season.
It was a Battle of the Birds when Oak Hill duked it out withFrankton on Friday. Oak Hill secured a 61-55 W over Frankton. Given the Golden Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Eagles are ranked 296th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Oak Hill found their leader in sophomore Jace Tonagel, who went 7 of 11 on his way to 22 points along with seven assists and four steals. The matchup was Tonagel's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Cruzan, who posted 11 points and three steals.
Meanwhile, Eastbrook didn't have quite enough to beat Alexandria-Monroe on Friday and fell 52-49.
Oak Hill will have to keep a close watch on Bodie Howell and Jayden Younce, a pair of players who had a big impact on Eastbrook's prior game. Howell went 7 of 15 on his way to 16 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals, while Younce put up 12 points along with seven boards and three steals. Those 16 points gave Howell a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid Aupperle, who posted eight points and six boards.
Oak Hill is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Eastbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Oak Hill has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 20 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Eastbrook struggles in that department as they've been averaging 22.3 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
