Pike County has struggled against Upson-Lee recently, as their match on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Pike County's loss came despite strong showings from Yadiel Rosado and Nazarious McDowell. Rosado scored 16 points along with seven rebounds and four steals, while McDowell scored 15 points along with three steals.
Pike County has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season. As for Upson-Lee, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-9.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Jackson the next time they take the court. Pike County will head out to face Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Upson-Lee will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
