Freedom Christian Academy is 8-1-1 against Faith Christian since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Faith Christian's hitters are going to have their work cut out for them on Tuesday: Freedom Christian Academy hadn't allowed a single run the last three times they've hit the field. Freedom Christian Academy never let Village Christian Academy get on the board and left with a 15-0 victory on Monday. Fans of the Patriots have seen this all before: every one of the games they've played this season has ended in a blowout of 6+ runs.
Victoria Bryant was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk). That's the first time she hasn't allowed a single hit since back in April of 2024. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances.
In other batting news, Melanie Multerer was a standout: she scored three runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Savannah Graham was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run and two RBI.
Freedom Christian Academy always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. The last time their OBP was this high was back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, Faith Christian came up short against John Paul II Catholic on Tuesday and fell 16-13.
Faith Christian got a massive performance out of Abby Bradley, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI. Those five RBI gave Bradley a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Skylar Powers, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Freedom Christian Academy's win was their 18th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0.the team's perfect season has a lot to do with their hitting performance: the team won's by an average of 10.5 runs thus far As for Faith Christian, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.
Faith Christian's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Tuesday. Freedom Christian Academy has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 11.3 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Faith Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 3.2 strikeouts. Will Freedom Christian Academy keep running through batters, or will Faith Christian buck the trend?
