La Salette Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Marco Cruz, who posted eight points in addition to six boards and four steals. Those six boards gave Cruz a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Andrew Sick, who had 16 points.
Meanwhile, St. Anne came tearing into Tuesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: La Salette Academy has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 24.8 rebounds per game. However, it's not like St. Anne struggles in that department as they've been averaging 28.8 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
La Salette Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against St. Anne in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 42-38 victory. Does La Salette Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will St. Anne turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
