They took their contest on the road on Monday with ease, bagging a 62-22 win over Cicero Prep Academy. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Anthem Prep.
Rithik Kolli was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Titus Franklin, who scored 13 points.
Anthem Prep's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.5 points per game. As for Cicero Prep Academy, their loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 5-8.
Anthem Prep will take on Bagdad at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Cicero Prep Academy, they will head out on the road to face off against Valley Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Arizona (Valley Lutheran is ranked 298th, while Cicero Prep Academy is ranked 281st).
