In a tight contest that could have gone either way, they made off with a 72-71 victory over Denbigh Baptist Christian. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Greenbrier Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Wyatt Hill led the charge by scoring 19 points. Jackson Burris was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with two steals.
