Two dominant signal callers in Braeden Imhoff and Angelo Renda are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Prosper Eagles will venture away from home to take on the Southlake Carroll Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Prosper sitting on four straight victories and Southlake Carroll on 12.
Prosper is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Berkner as they made off with a 50-24 win. Considering the Eagles have won nine contests by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Prosper relied on the efforts of Lathon Latiolais, who gained 102 total yards, and Bryce Robinson, who rushed for 96 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Robinson has posted since back in October.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Southlake Carroll). They breezed past San Angelo Central to the tune of 72-7 on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Southlake Carroll's win came from a few key players Prosper will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Blake Gunter, who picked up 68 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 43 yards and one TD. Brock Boyd did his part to keep the secondary busy, picking up 139 receiving yards.
Southlake Carroll was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 359 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.
Southlake Carroll didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Brody Bourgeois, Robbie Ladd, and Parker Harris picked up one apiece. Ladd has been hot, having also posted five or more total tackles the last seven times he's played. Another thorn in San Angelo Central's side was Austin Bussmann, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made eight total tackles.
Prosper's record is now 11-1. As for Southlake Carroll, their record now sits at 12-0.
Prosper took a serious blow against Southlake Carroll in their previous meeting back in September of 2021, falling 31-0. Thankfully for the Eagles, Owen Allen (who rushed for 183 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
