South Eugene barely beat Sunset the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Axe were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Apollos on Wednesday. The win continues a trend for the Axe in their matchups with the Apollos: they've now won three in a row.

South Eugene's victory bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Sunset, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-16.

Looking ahead, South Eugene will host Westview at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Sunset does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
