When it comes to explaining why La Salette Academy lost, one person who can't be blamed is Eamon Martin. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 rebounds. Martin scored a full 33.3% of La Salette Academy's points, the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Charles Prather, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Even though they lost, La Salette Academy were smashing the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin was led to victory by Keison Peoples and Ayden Ingram. Peoples scored 12 points along with eight assists and five steals, while Ingram scored 24 points along with three steals. The game was Ingram's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Micah Stanford, who scored eight points.
La Salette Academy's defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-2. As for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-1.
