There's no place like home for the Drew Dragons, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Saturday. They came out on top against Gateway by a score of 56-45 on Tuesday. This was a revenge match for Drew, as the team was forced to settle for a 63-59 defeat when these two played two weeks ago.
Drew found their leader in underclassman Kian Chan, who scored 29 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Chan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Teo Kimball-Directo, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
Drew now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Gateway, they dropped their record down to 8-13 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Drew will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wolves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Jewish Community has now lost nine straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 7. As for Gateway, they will head out on the road to challenge the Wolverines at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
