It was a good run, but the Seneca Bobcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Saturday. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 55-54 to Mill Creek.
Despite the loss, Seneca still got an impressive performance from Jalen Craig, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 13 rebounds. Craig scored a full 37% of Seneca's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Cam O'kelley was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with six rebounds.
Seneca's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-2. As for Mill Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.
Seneca will be home for the holidays to greet Easley at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Hopefully Easley focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Thursday. As for Mill Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against White Oak at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday.
