Frankenmuth's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 55-34 margin over the Swan Valley Vikings. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 21 points or more this season.

Frankenmuth's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Landon Jacobs led the charge by going 5 of 9 en route to 16 points. Another player making a difference was Caden Sommerfield, who posted seven points in addition to nine boards and four steals.

Frankenmuth's victory bumped their record up to 6-1. As for Swan Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Frankenmuth and Freeland will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025.
