Bishop Foley entered their tilt with University Liggett on Wednesday with six consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Knights. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Ventures also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2025.

Sasha Walker was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, nine RBI, and one triple while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high.

In other batting news, Bishop Foley let Abbey Jones and Leah Rovner run wild. Jones went 3-for-4 with three runs and three RBI, while Rovner went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Rovner is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sofie Barnes, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.

Bishop Foley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 4.8 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 matchups they've averaged 11.4.

Bishop Foley's record now sits at 8-3. As for University Liggett, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Bishop Foley will face off against Notre Dame Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for University Liggett, they will take on Richard at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Pioneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 15.44 runs per game on average), something the Knights will no doubt try to take advantage of.
