Lincoln Southwest's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over Lincoln High. Lincoln Southwest's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last seven games.

Their offense was hitting Lincoln High from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Mallory Arehart led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Burke came into Saturday's contest having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was the Bulldogs who were credited with the victory on Saturday. Burke got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to Bryan's two.

Lincoln Southwest pushed their record up to 13-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Burke, their victory bumped their record up to 4-11.
