The Hagerstown Tigers will stay at home for another game and welcome the Cambridge City Lincoln Golden Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully Hagerstown focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Thursday.
Hagerstown struggled with three-point shooting accuracy on Thursday (the Knights were 39% better) and sadly the final score reflected it. Hagerstown was dealt a 70-32 defeat at the hands of the Knights. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Hagerstown has scored all season.
Despite the defeat, Hagerstown had strong showings from Isaac Schmitz, who scored eight points, and Landon Lawson, who scored five points along with nine rebounds. Lawson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played.
Meanwhile, Cambridge City Lincoln scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They enjoyed a cozy 68-51 victory over Muncie Burris.
Hagerstown's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.
Hagerstown came up short against the Golden Eagles when the teams last played back in February of 2023, falling 61-57. Thankfully for Hagerstown, Tyler Wyles (who scored 25 points along with five assists) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
