Harding County was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as New England apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
Despite the loss, Harding County still got an impressive performance from Evan Meyer, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Meyer also posted two blocks for the first time this season. Another player making a difference was Payton Dvorak, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Harding County's loss ended a nine-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-5. As for New England, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 6-5 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Harding County will take on Belle Fourche at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Belle Fourche is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for New England, they will be playing at home against Beach at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in North Dakota (Beach is ranked 111th, while New England is ranked 88th).
