The Cox Mill Chargers can now show off seven landslide victories after their most recent contest on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mooresville 60-16 at home. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-8.
Cox Mill's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kennedy Bellamy, who scored 13 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Makayla Richardson, who scored four points along with nine rebounds and five steals.
The win got Cox Mill back to even at 9-9. As for Mooresville, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-15.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cox Mill will take on West Cabarrus at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Mooresville, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Hickory Ridge at 6:00 p.m. Hickory Ridge is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
