Parkland has played every game this season on their home court, but they'll have to hit the road on Monday. They will face off against the Salisbury Hornets at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though North Rowan scored an imposing 63 points on Friday, Parkland still came out on top. Parkland pulled ahead with a 64-63 photo finish over North Rowan. The score was all tied up 28-28 at the break, but Parkland was the better team in the second half.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Parkland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Christian Williams, who scored 20 points. Joshua Moore was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though Robinson scored an imposing 56 points on Friday, Salisbury still came out on top. Salisbury walked away with a 69-56 win over Robinson.
Their wins bumped Parkland to 2-1 and North Rowan to 1-1.
