Northeast Academy put the finishing touches on their 4th blowout victory of the season last Friday. They steamrollered Community Christian 54-14. Junior JT Simmons and sophomore Josh Simmons were among the main playmakers for Northeast Academy as the former rushed for 177 yards and 2 touchdowns and the latter rushed for 151 yards and 2 touchdowns. This marked the 4th match in which Simmons has rushed for over 100 yards.

Meanwhile, Bethel Christian Academy got themselves on the board against Lawrence Academy, but Lawrence Academy never followed suit. Bethel Christian Academy put a hurting on Lawrence Academy to the tune of 44-0. Bethel Christian Academy were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Northeast Academy took their game against Bethel Christian Academy four weeks ago by a conclusive 58-34 score. Whatever the outcome in this rematch, the game is bound to be a fierce one since these are two of the top teams in the state.
