Peotone won the last time they faced Streator and Payton Pape did her part to make sure it happened again. The Blue Devils managed a 36-31 victory over the Bulldogs on Monday thanks in part to Pape, who posted eight points along with eight steals and six boards. She continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played.

Peotone's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Streator, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, Peotone will be playing at home against Manteno at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Blue Devils surely won't give up without a fight. As for Streator, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 37-24 win against Putnam County on the 2nd.
