Sullivan extended their home winning streak to eight games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Andi Giebler. The Eagles walked away with a 3-1 win over the Hermann Bearcats on Thursday for which the team can thank Giebler, who had 18 digs and two aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 10 digs per game.

Sullivan had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-11, 25-21, 25-17.

Despite the loss, Hermann still got an impressive performance from Jaelee Kahler, who had three digs and one block. Kahler is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 13 or more in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Brynlee Ash, who had nine assists and seven digs.

Sullivan's victory bumped their record up to 14-9-4. As for Hermann, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11-1.

Sullivan has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Washington on the 13th. As for Hermann, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Helias on the 13th.
