It's difficult to win when you shoot 0% from downtown, but the Lincoln Lancers somehow got it done this past Friday. They took their matchup on the road with ease, bagging a 70-36 win over the Far Northeast Warriors Warriors. That 34-point margin sets a new team best for the Lancers on the season.
Senior Ty Foster was a one-man wrecking crew for Lincoln, dropping a double-double on 22 points and ten boards along with three blocks. Senior Jonathan Kayumba was another key contributor, picking up 14 points and five assists in addition to six rebounds.
The victory makes it two in a row for Lincoln and bumps their record up to 11-10. Far Northeast Warriors' defeat pushed them down to 7-13.
The Lancers will square off against Denver North on Tuesday. The Warriors will be hunkering down at home again for their game against Denver West on Tuesday. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 32 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close contest.
