Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Ferndale). They claimed a resounding 70-28 victory over the Hyndman Charter School Hornets. With that win, the Yellow Jackets brought their scoring average up to 50.6 points per game.

Ferndale's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Fenton, who went 8 for 11 on his way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joe Prave, who went 7 of 16 on his way to 16 points and seven assists.

The win got Ferndale back to even at 5-5. As for Hyndman Charter School, they are on a 20-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

When Ferndale and Hyndman Charter School next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Ferndale will try to stop Blacklick Valley's four-game winning streak when the meet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Similarly, Hyndman Charter School will try to stop Turkeyfoot Valley Area's nine-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
