Highlands had won two straight games and Linden Sepulveda did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Owls walked away with a 2-0 win over the Holmes Huskies with plenty of help from Sepulveda, who had 16 digs and three assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 12 times she's played.

Despite the loss, Holmes saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jaleaha Rodriguez had eight digs and two aces.

Highlands' victory bumped their record up to 13-8. As for Holmes, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost ten of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.

Highlands didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Crystal City on the 30th. As for Holmes, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Edcouch-Elsa on the 30th.
