Gentry had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the eight-run drubbing they dealt Northside on Monday. The Pioneers blew past the Grizzlies 13-5. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won seven matchups by eight runs or more so far this season.

Gentry has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Northside, they dropped their record down to 2-11 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gentry will head out to square off against Pea Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northside, they will face off against Har-Ber at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 2.2 runs per game this season, so the Grizzlies' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
