Central Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Peabody-Burns Warriors 76-39. The Lions pushed the score to 58-30 by the end of the third, a deficit the Warriors had little chance of recovering from.
Leading Central Christian Academy to victory were Lane Morton and Ben Patrick. Morton shot 6-for-8 from deep and dropped a double-double with 23 points and ten rebounds, while Patrick dropped a double-double with 16 points and 14 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Luckner, who posted 15 points.
Central Christian Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 24 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Peabody-Burns only posted five.
