Carrigan Friend put up the most steals she's had since back in December of 2024 on Saturday. She shot 58% from the field on her way to 16 points along with five assists and five steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last four games she's played dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Friend and Rising Sun will venture away from home to square off against South Decatur at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Friend had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their game back in November of 2024 45-26.
