Given Maplewood's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while Saegertown is ranked 486th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Cochranton's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-9. As for Maplewood, their win bumped their record up to 18-3.
