Bishop's got a massive performance out of Alex Moreno, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with three runs, one double, and one RBI. Those three runs gave Moreno a new career-high. Wesley Pearson was another key player, going 3-for-5 with four RBI, one run, and one double.
Bishop's was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .472. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in four consecutive games.
Bishop's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Carlsbad, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.
