Carlsbad had a senior duo take command as Luke Armstrong picked up 168 yards on the ground and Keoni Quintana's accumulated 199 passing yards and punched in 1 rushing TD. Quintana has been a consistent playmaker for Carlsbad as this was the 7th good game in a row from him.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for El Camino, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to six. They came up short against San Marcos, falling 21-28.
Carlsbad's victory lifted them to 4-3 while El Camino's defeat dropped them down to 1-6.
