There's no place like home for Lone Pine, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They took their game on Friday with ease, bagging a 69-27 win over the Desert Scorpions. With the Golden Eagles ahead 33-8 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

Lone Pine got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Anthony Guerra out in front who posted 21 points. Those 21 points gave Guerra a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Quezada, who scored 12 points and four steals.

Lone Pine pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Lone Pine will take on Boron at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Desert, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mojave at 3:00 p.m. on December 3.
