Basketball Recap: Lake Country Classical Academy Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins on the Road

It was a good run, but Lake Country Classical Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 62-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cedar Grove-Belgium Rockets. While losing is never fun, the Sentinels can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Rockets are ranked 139th).

Several Sentinels players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Ryan Low, who posted 20 points and five boards. Low's afternoon made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jude Kolstad, who put up 21 points.

Lake Country Classical Academy's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 4-4. As for Cedar Grove-Belgium, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Lake Country Classical Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 75-26 loss against Reedsville on the 27th. As for Cedar Grove-Belgium, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 62-50 win against Florence on the 27th.
