If the Academy for Urban Leadership Charter Jaguars were feeling good off their 76-19 takedown of Central Jersey College Prep last Friday, that ride came to an abrupt end. Academy for Urban Leadership Charter came up short against the Hillside Comets on Monday, falling 68-59.
The Jaguars' loss pushed them down to 12-3. The victory improved Hillside's record to 16-4.
The Jaguars will take on Woodbridge Friday. Academy for Urban Leadership Charter won't have the home-court advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings. As for Hillside, they will face off against Summit on Thursday. The odds don't look promising for Hillside, but the bigger the opponent is, the harder they fall.
