The Nichols Vikings scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 86-45 win over The Park School of Buffalo on the road. Nichols has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 23 points or more this season.
Hezzy Hall continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 15 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Jakye Rainey was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds.
Several Pioneers players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Willy Kibowa Jr, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Kibowa Jr is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. The team also got some help courtesy of Jarrell Green, who scored seven points along with two steals.
Nichols has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for The Park School of Buffalo, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-9.
