The Regents Lions stacked a ninth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They breezed by United Christian Academy on the road to the tune of 62-35. The victory was familiar territory for Regents who now have three in a row.
Regents' victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Morris Hoffman, who scored 17 points along with six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Hoffman has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Josh Morales, who scored ten points along with eight steals.
Regents' victory was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for United Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
Regents will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bears at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for United Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to take on the Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
