Rampart High’s Izzy Starck and Brighton High’s Andi Jackson were among a group of 20 players selected this week to join USA Volleyball’s Girls U19 National Training Team.

Starck is coming off an all-state sophomore year as a setter/outside hitter that saw her total 410 assists, 392 kills, 85 aces and 50 blocks for the Rams. Jackson, a 6-foot-1 middle blocker, is committed to play for Nebraska. She amassed 143 kills and 64 blocks as a junior in the fall of 2021.

The training team will practice July 6-15 in Tulsa, Okla., before 12 are chosen to compete at the U19 Pan Am Cup on July 18-23 at the Cox Business Convention Center in Tulsa.

The team will be coached by Jamie Morrison, whose been a part of three Olympic medal-winning coaching staffs.
