The Avon Grove Charter Wolves can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They managed a 37-33 win over Freire Charter. The win was just what Avon Grove Charter needed coming off of a 57-13 defeat in their prior matchup.
Avon Grove Charter had a senior duo take command as Ayub Massaquoi scored 11 points along with six rebounds and four steals and Xavier London scored ten points along with eight rebounds and five steals.
Avon Grove Charter's win bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Freire Charter, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-6.
Avon Grove Charter and Tri-State Christian will face off at 7:00 p.m. on January 16th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The timing is sure in Tri-State Christian's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Avon Grove Charter has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road. As for Freire Charter, they will square off against Liguori Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Monday.
