You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out for Dutch Fork on Friday. Everything went their way against the Chapin Eagles as the Dutch Fork Silver Foxes made off with a 60-34 win. The Silver Foxes have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Michaela Fairwell was her usual excellent self, shooting 5-for-9 from long range and almost dropping a double-double on 33 points and nine rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. Another player making a difference was Trinity Crumlin, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine boards.

Dutch Fork was working as a unit and finished the game with 15 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Chapin only racked up eight assists.

Despite the loss, Chapin still got an impressive performance from Brooke Holmes, who posted ten points in addition to five rebounds and four steals. Atyria Douglas was another key player, putting up eight points and five boards.

Dutch Fork's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-2. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 65.1 points per game. As for Chapin, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dutch Fork will venture away from home to square off against White Knoll at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. White Knoll will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Dutch Fork surely won't give up without a fight. As for Chapin, they are taking a road trip to challenge Lexington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lexington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 63.1 points per game this season.
