Triway waltzed into their contest on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 27-21 W against the Orrville Red Riders. That's more bragging rights for the Titans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
Luke Starr had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 124 yards and three TDs while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also throwing for 142 yards and a pair of touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024. Triway's leading receiver Bruin Flinner was Starr's top target yet again, picking up 91 receiving yards and one score.
Triway's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB six times. Orrville's QB won't forget Wilson James anytime soon given he sacked him 2.5 times.
Triway's victory bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Orrville, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-4.
Triway does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Orrville, they will face off against Clear Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
