The Rocky Mountain Grizzlies will take on the Mountain View Mavericks at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rocky Mountain is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.
Rocky Mountain took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Filer a 14-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Grizzlies considering their one-run performance the game before.
Danica Quinn made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than one walk in six consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Mountain View and Skyview, and Mountain View kept the tradition alive. Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Rocky Mountain hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.9 home runs per game. However, it's not like Mountain View struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 1.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Rocky Mountain suffered a grim 18-8 defeat to Mountain View when the teams last played back in April of 2024. Can Rocky Mountain avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
